Wagyu Braciole

Ingredients
Ingredients
  • 300g Darling Downs Flank

  • Canned tomatoes (whole tomatoes)

  • Parmesan cheese

  • Parsley

  • 4 tablespoons of minced garlic

  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs

  • Olive oil

  • 1/2 cup of white wine

  • Cooking twine

  • Salt

  • Pepper

Instructions

Step 1

In a medium-sized pot, put the canned tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Bring it to a boil over low heat.

Step 2

Pound the Flank to flatten it as thin as possible. Season it with salt and pepper.

Step 3

In a medium-sized bowl, combine breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Then, spread this mixture evenly over the Flank, pressing it down and spreading it out.

Step 4

Roll up the Flank tightly like a sushi roll and secure it with cooking twine.

Step 5

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sear the Flank roll until it's browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Add white wine and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Finally, add the tomato sauce, cover the pot with a lid, and simmer on low heat for 1 hour.

Step 6

After removing the twine, sprinkle Parmesan cheese and parsley powder for the finishing touch. Enjoy!
